Nottingham jobs fair

The Working Links team based in Nottingham have recently attended a number of job fairs that have proved to be a great success.

An event at Loxley House welcomed a 140 job seekers and a range of organisations from the care sector including Nottingham City Council, Seva Care and Homecare plus.

Kally Cheema, Engagement Consultant (pictured right) from our Nottingham office had a stand at the jobs fair to help promote the work of our Links to Work programme in Nottingham.
The event was a great place for us to provide information to potential customers looking to access our service and build strong links with organisations in the area.

The day provided some positive outcomes with customers signing up to the programme and links being made with New College Nottingham, who run a range of employability courses.

A recent jobs and apprenticeships fair in Nottingham was also a great opportunity for Working Links to speak with businesses in the area about how we can work together to support people living in the Nottingham area.

Representatives attended from organisations including Wilkos, Royal Navy, Princes Trust and Siemens to promote apprenticeships programmes and current employment opportunities.
