We are here to help you.
You will have access to your own personal consultant who will help you plan your journey back into work. We’ll work with you to identify your strengths, skills and abilities and identify any barriers you may have to employment.
We will provide you with a comprehensive support package, giving you the confidence to make those first steps back into work.
Our specialist employment consultants will work with you to identify your skills and match these to a job that is right for you. We also work with a wide range of employers, across different work areas, to identify suitable vacancies.
Once you are in work our support doesn’t stop there. We’ll keep in touch with you to make sure everything’s going well. We’ll be on hand to answer any questions, and to support you with any challenges you might face.
Are you eligible?
You must be currently unemployed, over 16 years old and have one of the following barriers:
- be over 50
- be a lone parent
- be an ethnic minority
- have a disability or are managing a health condition
- have caring responsibilities
- have a basic skills needs
- have mental health issues
- have a criminal conviction
- are drug or alcohol dependent
- have no or low qualification
- have a language barrier

Meet the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire team
Kally’s role is to engage, inspire and support people who are looking for help to get back into sustainable employment. She works across Nottinghamshire to enrol people onto the Links to Work programme.
Michael is responsible for managing the performance of the Links to Work programme and driving employment opportunities across the Nottingham and Derby area.
Theresa works as a Personal Consultant. Her role is to support our customers whilst on programme to help them overcome any barriers and secure sustainable employment.
Glenda works as a Health Coach on the Links to Work team in Nottingham. She is a trained Occupational Therapist and supports customer with any health related issues.
Grant is a Personal Consultant and works with customers throughout their journey into sustainable employment.
Sam is responsible for facilitating the Engage and Inspire programme to Links to Work customers.
